We have been following Government guidelines and gradually opening up the centre to well being support groups. Unfortunately due to the size of our conference room we are having to limit the number of people that can use it safely so at the moment we will not he hosting our monthly Warm Hub or NAAFI Break – thank you for your patience in this matter.

Latest Volunteering Opportunities – Berwick –Volunteers required to support Vaccination Centre  

Five Northumberland Surgeries will be undertaking the next round of vaccination clinics from the 6th of July at the Swan Centre in Berwick and are seeking local volunteer support.

These clinics will run every Tuesday from 8.00 a.m. until 6.00 p.m. and we would welcome volunteers who can support part or all of those days/hours to suit your availability.

Coffee/Tea and lunch breaks will be available. Support required is for volunteers to assist the medical teams in a. making sure social distancing of patients is maintained b. directing patients to the waiting areas c. directing and managing the car parking facility and other ad hoc duties to assist with the smooth running of the vaccination clinics.

You will need to be reasonably active as you will be on your feet for most of the time you are with us
